TIMELINE OF PROJECTS
Mixing it up in Honolulu
Honolulu, Hawaii 9/24/16
We recently returned from the island of Honolulu after installing a conference table for WallGoldfinger, Inc.
It was an exciting adventure, where work and play were successfully intertwined.
We had the opportunity to see the beautiful island from a helicopter, experience a traditional luau and make friends with our Hawaiian crew, who helped us in completing another successful project.
With the help of Granite Industries of VT and the Barre Setting Corporation, we designed, built, delivered, and installed, this 16-crypt walk-in mausoleum. It had a vestibule with three stained-glass windows, two oversized detailed bronze doors, and the walls were sculpted with two full-light sculptures.
It took two tractor-trailers to deliver the product
and a couple of weeks on site to erect it.
The family was very passionate about the project – they were a pleasure to work with and in the end they were completely satisfied.
Mishaps along the way?
"During the course of the installation, the crane operator, inadvertantly chipped the front wall and we were asked to come down and repair it – we drove down from VT, a seven hour drive, repaired the wall and drove back the same day with nothing but a 6-pack of Pepsi."
